Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is a high-performance, low-ash, synthetic motor oil designed to help extend the life and maintain the efficiency of the emission control systems in gasoline and diesel vehicles.
Features and benefits
It helps to maintain the efficiency of the exhaust noxes reduction systems in both diesel and gasoline vehicles.
Allows extended operation at high temperatures without oxidative thickening of the oil and oil breakdown.
It provides excellent fluidity at low temperatures allowing easy starting in winter and rapid oil circulation in the engine.
Suitable for use in both petrol and diesel engines of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Applications
- Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 has been designed to meet the latest engine oil specifications required by major vehicle manufacturers and is compatible with most of the latest diesel particulate filters and all gasoline catalytic converters.
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 provides excellent performance at very low and very high operating temperatures and long-term engine protection against wear and sludge and residue deposits.
- Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is specifically recommended by ExxonMobil for use in Mercedes-Benz vehicles (requiring an approved product MB 229.31 or 229.51), BMW vehicles (requiring Longlife Oil 04) and Volkswagen vehicles (requiring an approved product VW 502 00 / 505 00).
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is also recommended by ExxonMobil for use in Volkswagen TDI pump-jerk engines (oil change intervals: 15000 km / 1 year) which require a VW 505 01 approval and to Ford Galaxy 1.9L Turbo Diesel requiring VW 505 01 or Ford WSS-M2C917-A approval.
- Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is General Motors Service Fill dexos2™ approved, which is required by all new 2010 GM/Opel/Vauxhall/Chevrolet Diesel and Gasoline models. GM/Opel have mentioned that the dexos2™ specification is backward compatible with older GM/Opel specifications (GM-LL-A-025 and GM-B-LL-025). Most GM/Opel/Vauxhall/Chevrolet Diesel or Gasoline vehicles can use dexos2™ lubricants
