Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 is an extra high performance diesel engine oil that offers a

The advanced composition of this product gives great performance to both modern diesel engines,
which advertises low emissions, as well as older diesel engines, which work with fuels with
lower or higher sulfur content. Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 is a mixture of compounds of
high performance base with a balanced system of additives, which offers excellent thickness control
oil influenced by the formation of soot and high temperatures, offering a special resistance to
oxidation, corrosion and deposits due to high temperatures.
Features and benefits
Diesel engines with high power and low emissions cause a significant increase in the demand for oils
of engine. Designing the engines as compact as possible determines a reduction in oil consumption and a
decrease in the level of oil refreshment compounds, necessary to compensate for the degradation
additives. The upper piston segments are placed higher on the piston, bringing the oil film further
close to the combustion chamber, where higher temperatures increase the thermal stress exerted on it
the lubricant. Increased fuel injection pressure and delayed ignition improve efficiency
fuel combustion, but also increase engine temperatures and soot loads. Mobile Delvac
