Mobil Delvac XHP Extra 10W-40 is a heavy-duty engine oil, resulting from a blend of
synthetic, which provides exceptional lubrication to current diesel and gasoline engines, which work in
severe conditions, to keep them cleaner and extend their life. As a result, this product is
recommended for European, Japanese and American engines. Mobil Delvac MX Extra 10W-40 is
created from a mixture of basic compounds and a system of additives of advanced technology to provide
a solid support for oxidation resistance, soot treatment and wear control, including control
deposits on the upper parts of the pistons and reducing sediment formation for maintenance
engines cleaner, resulting in a longer engine life. Viscosity characteristics and those of
multigrade gives excellent cold start capabilities and pumpability at low temperatures.
Features and benefits
Diesel engines with high power and low emissions cause a significant increase in the demand for oils
of engine. Designing the engines as compact as possible determines a reduction in oil consumption and a
decrease in the level of the refreshment compounds needed to compensate for the degradation of the additives.
The upper piston segments are placed higher on the piston, bringing the oil film closer to the
combustion chamber, where higher temperatures increase the thermal stress exerted on the lubricant.
Increased fuel injection pressure and delayed ignition improve emissions control
results from combustion, but at the same time, engine temperatures and soot loads also increase.
Mobil Delvac MX Extra 10W-40 is formulated with high performance base oils and a system
superior and balanced additives to provide optimal performance for both diesel and gasoline engines
modern as well as older models.
